Laurent Cauvet joins Maltem Insight Performance as Sales Director

Interview with Laurent Cauvet, the new Sales Director of Maltem Insight Performance, the leading digital transformation consulting group.


What is a sales manager?

The sales manager is the person who defines the company's sales strategy and ensures its implementation. Reporting to the general management, he/she manages his/her teams and supervises all of the company's commercial activities by organizing challenges and setting objectives to achieve the company's expected sales figures. He also works closely with the marketing and communication departments to propose the best possible sales leads. Once the sales strategy has been set, he/she puts in place the means to achieve it, mobilizing a team that he/she manages and supervises on a daily basis.

Can you tell us about your background?

I have been working for several years in business development, with an entrepreneurial background of 6 years. The first part of my professional experience was mainly in advertising and media (advertising agencies), and I decided about 20 years ago to take a turn in the digital field. I joined the IT sector 6 years ago, which allowed me to understand the specific issues of IT. At that time, I joined one of the recognized players in IT monitoring, which I have accompanied for 6 years until today.

This award is a real recognition for Maltem, which invests significant resources each year to enable its employees to develop in a structure that places well-being, respect and benevolence at the heart of its growth strategy.

I decided to contact one of the two founders of the digital transformation consulting firm Maltem, Pascal Mennesson, because I share the same values as the group. I had not yet learned about the subsidiary Maltem Insight Performance (MIP) that exists within the Group. But the first exchanges with Pascal Mennesson and François Berjamin were gradual and natural about MIP and its development potential.

When I discovered the MIP solution, I was interested in the technology of computer supervision and the potential for commercial development that the product represents in a highly competitive market.

Even if technology is paramount in a software company, human capital remains fundamental to successful development.

Various elements such as the exchanges with Pascal and François, my previous experience in the IT monitoring market, my background in business development, have strongly contributed to the desire to join this new challenge within Maltem's digital transformation consulting teams.

What will be your priorities at MIP?

My priority is the commercial development very focused on the prospection and the development of the existing customers' loyalty, the commercial organization and the implementation if necessary of a commercial team in order to accompany Maltem as Commercial Director.

The objective will be to rapidly increase the number of new prospects, increase the number of customers, and participate in events bringing together IT decision-makers, in order to continue the growth of Maltem Insight Performance.

I am very motivated and very happy to join the MIP and Maltem Group teams.
